This site is managed by the Douglas College Online Learning Designer team, part of Academic Technology Services.
We are committed to facilitating transformative teaching and learning experiences.
We left out the term “online” since there are many other environments and technologies we are interested in and involved with. These include flexible learning environments, the Whole Person Learning Community of Practice, flipped classroom strategies, and the use of media in education.
We see ourselves as facilitators, and we work with instructors developing facilitative learning skills. We strive to make the art and science of teaching and learning easier to engage in.
